Net Atelier · who this is for

Personas, jobs, and the gaps

The three program targets on the site are project shapes, not personas. All three are bought by one person and done by five others. We have designed for the buyer at the moment of buying, and for nobody else at the moment of working.

Six roles, one job each

A job statement that needs a paragraph is a feature list in disguise.

P1Principal / Owner-Designer The buyer
Ultra-Luxury Residential · High-Stakes Commissions
When I am deciding whether this replaces my spreadsheet stack, I want to see one of my real projects costed inside it — trade price, mark-up, client price, total — so that I can justify $49 a month to myself before the trial ends.
BuiltSignup 01–08, Projects empty state, both pricing cards
Missing The day-14 moment, and importing my existing work
P2Senior Designer / Studio Manager The spec author
All three programs
When I have picked forty products for a room, I want each one to become a costed specification without retyping anything, so that the proposal and the budget match the board I already showed the client.
BuiltTrade → client price cards, where-it-went card
Missing The Spec Sheet, mark-up propagation, proposal generation
P3Junior / Project Designer The volume
Resort-Scale Hospitality
When I am spec'ing two hundred keys across a dozen room types, I want to copy one room's specification set and reuse it, so that I am not re-entering forty fields per room and breaking the budget with a typo.
BuiltNothing
Missing Concept board templates, category mark-ups, reuse, bulk supplier import — the hospitality unlock, entirely absent
P4Procurement / Purchasing The order
Hospitality · High-Stakes Commissions
When a client approves a selection, I want to turn it into a purchase order and track what has arrived, so that nothing is ordered twice and nothing silently misses a lead time.
BuiltThe Orders empty state, and only that
Missing Purchase orders, receipts, real order rows, supplier records
P5The Client The approval
All three programs
When my designer shows me a scheme, I want to see what it costs and say yes or no, so that I do not have to learn someone else's software to approve my own house.
BuiltNothing
Missing BLOCKED — the portal is claimed on site and unproven in the app
P6The Studio Administrator The setup
All three programs
When I set the studio up, I want my terms of reference, categories and mark-ups to apply to every document automatically, so that I am not editing terms on each proposal, invoice and purchase order by hand.
BuiltNothing
Missing Settings terms of reference, category mark-up %, report columns

What exists, measured honestly

The app has 22 working surfaces: 13 global screens and 9 project tabs. Three have a designed first-run state.

The gaps, ranked

ICE = Impact x Confidence x Ease. Confidence is capped by evidence: a capability we have never exercised cannot score above 4.

#GapRoleICEICE Blocker
1Import your existing workP196722Exercise Import Project first
2Templates + category mark-upP396621Open both screens
3Trial day-14 conversionP186721Subscription state real, screen is not
4Spec Sheet / DOP recordP286620Open the tab
5Mark-up propagationP276619Recompute never bound in recon
6Proposal generationP185518Unexercised
7Purchase orders + receiptsP475517Unexercised
8Settings terms of referenceP669924None — all on screen
9Bare states: Clients, Suppliers, ManufacturersP2/P459923None — same pattern as Projects
10Client approval / portalP5103215Unverified; recon needed
Two things fall out of this. The cheapest wins — settings terms of reference, and the three bare empty states — need no new evidence at all; those screens are already photographed. The four highest-impact gaps are blocked on a single thing: we have not driven those flows. The next work is a recon pass, not a design pass.
